Phi Delta Theta works to raise money for the LiveLikeLou foundation, which seeks to raise money for ALS research and support for families with members afflicted with the disease. The foundation was started by Brother Neil Alexander, who had ALS, and named after Brother Lou Gehrig. The Iowa Delta Chapter will be hosting an Iron Phi Event this semester where a member is tasked with completing an athletic event of their choice and raising $1,000 for the foundation.
